We’ve received your payment for the Starter POCUS Exam Review Package. Below are the detailed instructions on how to submit your exams and the minimum image criteria. You’ll receive a welcome email shortly with instructions as well.

How to submit your de-identified exams

1. Share directly from your scanning app, by downloading your images into a Google Drive, or by attaching them as JPEG and MP4 files to the email. Do not exceed 20GB per email. Submit one scan at a time.

2. Email to qa@hellosono.com

3. Subject line must include: POCUS QA Request - Exam Type - Your First Name and Last Name

4. Body of the email: brief story, views obtained, findings, impression, comments. In addition, include if a confirmatory study was obtained and what it showed. View our POCUS QA Request Email Template.

   Email example:

   Subject: POCUS Exam Review - DVT–Joe Smith

   Email body:

   This was a middle-aged man with left calf pain.

   All views were obtained for left leg.

   I forgot to label the 3rd clip, this was the confluence of deep and superficial femoral veins. I am not sure about that popliteal view.

   All veins were compressible.

   Impression: negative study

   Confirmatory US was ordered and is pending

5. You will receive a confirmation email within 1 hour of your submission. If your name doesn’t match our records, you will receive an email to resubmit your study with a correct name in the subject line.

6. You will receive an email with your feedback from qa@hellosono.com within 5 business days.

Before you submit your first scan….

1. Add qa@hellosono.com and info@hellosono.com to your contacts.

2. Familiarize yourself with the POCUS Minimum Image Criteria that we use to evaluate your scans. We rate your exams on the scale of 1-5, with 3 being a passing grade.

3. Add POCUS QA Request Email Template to your saved email templates to streamline your future submissions.

4. Save 2-3 second clips for most scans instead of still images. Clips provide more information for our review team.

5. Make sure to label your clips clearly. For example: L CFV, R kidney, bladder tv, RUQ, etc.
