Point-of-Care Ultrasound Workshop for Medical Providers
Wednesday, November 13, 2025
1:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Are you a forward-thinking provider looking to bring more precision to your bedside care?
Join us in New Orleans for a fast-paced, hands-on point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) workshop designed for medical professionals who want to build or refresh their bedside ultrasound skills and stay at the forefront of clinical practice. This workshop will conveniently take place at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside at the start of the Southern Medical Association Annual Scientific Assembly and the Southeast Region Urgent Care Association Conference.
Led by Dr. Tatiana Havryliuk, emergency physician and founder of Hello Sono, this workshop brings together a team of expert ultrasound faculty with years of clinical and teaching experience. You'll receive real-time guidance from instructors who use POCUS daily and know how to make it stick.
With only 20 spots available and a 1:5 instructor-to-participant ratio, you’ll get:
Plenty of probe time
Real-time feedback
A supportive environment to grow your confidence
4 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™
Whether you're new to POCUS or ready to deepen your foundation, this workshop is built for clinicians who want to work smarter, faster, and more accurately.
What You'll Learn
You’ll get hands-on experience with high-yield POCUS applications that improve diagnostic speed and patient outcomes:
Lung ultrasound – for pneumonia, pneumothorax, pulmonary edema, and pleural effusions
Renal & bladder scanning – to assess for hydronephrosis and urinary retention
Lower extremity DVT– 3-point compression technique to evaluate for DVT
